Best Green Smoothie Recipe in a Vitamix
- 2 Cups of Greens (Kale)
- 1 Orange
- 1 Apple
- 1-2 Bananas
- 1-2 Cups of Strawberries
- 1-2 Cups of Almond Milk
- 1/4 Cup Agave Nectar
- 1-2 Cups of Ice
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- Dash of Cinnamon
- 2 Tbs Protein Powder
- Put in your Vitamix or other Blender in order listed.
- Start at variable speed 1 and go to 10 very quickly and then to High.
- Blend for about a minute or until there are no specs of color.
- Enjoy! Super Easy.
- You can substitute any of the Fruit or greens for whatever you have on hand.
- If you are using frozen fruit then you can omit ice.
- I choose to add the protein powder after blending smoothie and then run blender again for a few seconds.
- Always use Organic Produce if you can, if you can’t just be sure that you wash the fruits and vegetables and I especially recommend taking out the core of the apple which is where most of the pesticides can get stuck.
