Looking for an easy breakfast that will keep you going long after 10am?
If you are anything like me, running out of the house at lighting speed in the morning, it can sometimes be hard to slow down enough to grab a healthy bite to eat or a bite at all.
Today I am going to share a raw oatmeal recipe that I think you will find yourself making time and time again. Oatmeal makes such a tasty breakfast meal.
2 Cups Raw Rolled/Old Fashioned Oats
2 Cups Water
1/4 Cup Raw Agave (or sub)
1 tsp Cinnamon
1. Combine all ingredients in bowl-cover with saran wrap.
2. Refrigerate overnight.
3. Voila That’s it Enjoy your healthy delicious meal!
Note that the amount of water is the same for making raw soaked oats as it is if you we’re to cook them on the stove.
You can use raw apple juice and skip the sweetener
Add finely diced apples
Add raisins or dried cherries
I whipped up all of the ingredients and popped it into the fridge.
This is what it looked like the next morning. I made it kind of late at night so it didn’t have quite enough time to soak up all of the liquid yet. Another two hours and it was perfect. Well there you have it I hope you enjoy! Have a fabulous Wednesday, don’t forget to come back for my random Friday Post.
Have you been making raw oatmeal lately? Let me know of you try this and if you add anything else to your raw oatmeal. I’d love to hear all of your different ideas.
