WE WERE STARVING YESTERDAY
So I thought I would show you an easy thing to fix for yourself and your family, that is quick easy and super yummy!
What You Need
-Tostado Shells -Vegetarian Refried beans -Avocado -Greens
What You Do-Preheat Oven to 325*
-Heat your beans
-Chop your greens
-Slice your avocado
Once the oven is preheated throw your tostado shells in for 3 min. Once they are ready spread your beans on liberally. Next goes your greens; I decided yo use Swiss chard for my greens since I have a plethora of it in my garden. To avoid my 3 year old from picking it off I devised to chop it finely and stick to the beans. Cover the top with sliced or mashed avocado.
This makes for a delicious and filling snack or even a meal. As you can see this can be a quick fix to those hunger pangs and whiny kiddos. You can use this as a base and add whatever fave ingredients you have. I love mexican food and I could eat this for every meal.
(The orange dots on the upper left are thinly sliced carrots for some crunch. I was out of tomatoes or those would have went on too.)
If you want to add other ingredients dry some fried potatoes, rice, sliced carrots, olives etc. Be creative and don’t be afraid to try new stuff out.
