This weeks smoothie is a delicious one we’ve got baby spinach, apples, dark cherries, vanilla almond yogurt, and more! Super yum!!
So here’s the recipe:
1 Hand Full of Spinach
1 1/2 apples
1/2-1 cup of dark cherries
1 cup of water
1 container of vanilla (almond) yogurt
1 scoop of protein powder of your choice
Cinnamon to taste
Throw all ingredients into blender. Blend until smooth. Add more liquid as needed. You will not need any sweetener in this recipe as the dark cherries add a lot of sweetness.
Makes 2 Big glassfuls?? I didn’t really measure just started drinking. This was a very filling smoothie and it lasted me until lunchtime.
Don’t the apples look fantastic? They are organic Braeburn Apples from my local Hy-Vee in liberty. They truly have the best organic produce in this area.
